Why did Wandering Maverick start this scholarship?

Supporting women in agriculture has always been at the heart of Wandering Maverick.

Founder Kodye Neel-Martinez started Wandering Maverick with just $200 while attending Texas A&M University. Through the support of scholarships, hard work, and the agriculture community, she was fortunate to graduate debt free while building her business from her college bedroom.

This scholarship program was created to give back to the next generation of women in agriculture and help support young women pursuing careers that will impact and strengthen the agriculture industry for years to come.
